Industria Personnel Services Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customs Administrator to join our successful client based in Logix Park, Hinckley.
About our Client
Distribution Centre. Specializes in the design and operation of supply chain solutions for technology customers.
How you will contribute:
Receive pre-advice and shipping documents from carriers, create internal references in the WMS system.
Supply clearance instructions to agents, ensure all paperwork is in order and follow through and chase any incorrect paperwork or missing paperwork.
Check customs entries and update Daybook with the required details, input of all shipment details and customs details like weight, quantity and value.
Prepare upload templates and upload files to create declarations in the Customs system.
Maintaining all relevant records in accordance with HMRC regulations on bonded warehouse process.
Other duties as assigned.
The successful applicant desirable skills and experience:
Must be able to follow through on all assignments
Meet deadlines consistently
Strong office administration skills including complete knowledge of Microsoft Office
Professional, accurate & precise, ability to manage multiple tasks
You must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
6 months work experience as an administrator required, full training provided.
Hours of work: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday; once in a month the shift will be 14:30 -23:00 for a week
Salary: £12.20 per hour
Start as soon as possible
Job Types: Temporary ongoing contract
Own transport would be essential due to location.
