Sonia Ostiak joined the Industria team one year ago as a contract manager for our on-site contract at Magna Park, Lutterworth.  

We asked her to share her story so far with us....

Before Industria I was studying in Poland ‘special economy and city planning ‘with a specialisation in spatial management. After achieving my degree I decided to pack my things and moved to UK - I think I just wanted to challenge myself and I always wanted to live in England! People here are generally kind, helpful and happy all the time - I just love UK lifestyle!

I wanted to work in the recruitment sector because I like to work with people and I always try my best to help and find work opportunities for other people. I consider myself to be a kind and emphatic person but I can be assertive and strong which I think this kind of personality needed for working in recruitment. 

I wanted to work for Industria because when I moved to Leicester I heard it is the best agency ever. I also can’t forget about Izabela’s help with recommending me for this job, she is also the one who has taught me everything I know :)

The thing I love the most about my role at Industria is that I can work with people, every day is different and brings you new challenges. The most interesting challenge is that sometimes you need to move beyond the outline to reach the goal 

Working for Industria has given me a huge opportunity and this year has been so exciting - I can’t wait for new challenges with the best team ever :)
