On 11th June 2016, the newest member of our team in Coventry, Cain Fowler, is attempting the Welsh 3000’s Challenge.
A 24 hour challenge climbing the highest 15 mountains in Snowdonia, all with the height of 3000ft (914.4 m) and above.
Geographically they fall within three mountain ranges and the length of this challenge is about 32 miles (51 km), all without the use of transport of any kind.
Cain has somehow persuaded a few of his friends to take part too and together they will be raising money, for a cause close to his heart for which he has set up a JustGiving Page.
He is doing another practice run this weekend to prepare for the more challenging climbs, climbing Snowdon via Crib Goch and Tryfan straight afterwards.
Cain will keep us all updated on here and will probably fill our Facebook newsfeed the weekend of the challenge with pictures of exhausted 30 year olds who have realised they are not as fit as they used to be!
We will update you soon… if he makes it back from Crib Goch this weekend…
Attached is a photo showing the route Cain intends to take for this challenge.
Good luck to Cain and team! From the Industria Team
